The 4 reminders from 400 ft to 100 ft can be used to remind you of “400 check gear” or “300 checklist” or “200 flaps” or “100 speed” or many other options that you can select from. After your 100 ft announcement, you can hear 70, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2, and 1 to a smooth and safe water landing. The user can also set reminders against their preferred heights from a set of available reminders like Check Gear, Checklist, LC GUMPS, Flaps, Speed and Prop. It announces GPS/MSL altitudes 18000, 12500, 11000, 10000, 9000, 8000, 7000, 6000, 5000, 4000, 3000, 2000, 1000 and 500 feet. Users can customize GPS-based reminders, such as Check Oxygen, IFR Altimeter, Clearance, Prop and Top of Descent.
The SkyVoice Glassy Guide utilizes Holy Micro! LLC’s HMR400 RADAR. It uses 24GHz-ISM frequency band which has strong anti-interference ability. HMR400 RADAR operates on a different principle than LiDAR, making it suitable for both water and ground applications. It also works well in rain, snow, fog, dust and other harsh environments. It’s compact size, light weight and low energy makes it ideal for GA Aircraft.
The SkyVoice Glassy Guide 400 has a portable option also. It features the same hardware and software as the certified version. It is equipped with a rechargeable battery. The portable unit allows you to install it temporarily in any location you want. You can connect by bluetooth and do many test flights to make sure everything is working the way you want. Once you are satisfied, you can open the portable unit and remove the RADAR and the processor to do your permanent install.
